We're more aware of tropes and how movies are made so? we're less impressed. That may be tangential though. I DO remember seeing this in the theater and everyone laughing at the bus jump and Keanu Reaves as an action star (the latter turned out well to our surprise!). I think there will always be good and bad action movies. It's been a hot minute since I've seen a recent action movie but don't forget Inception!

I remember overtaking a VFR750 around a fast sweeper on the outside on my old BR250 Kawasaki. I think that bang-for-bucks, a 600 is the way to go for guys who like to mix it up.

I have a 1250 Bandit and I smoke R1s and GSXR1000s off the line (up until about 160km/h on the clock).Around a track is a different story the 1000 sports bikes will whip Busas, ZX14's etc.

But top end the zx will eventually after a very long time pass it at top speed without restrictuions.. Torque gives the zx better acceleration but just not quite enough? to surpass the s1k. Stock vs Stock s1k will pull early and most of the race.. "most" being the key word.. :)

However you can easily modify these bikes to rev out in 6th gear so the ZX-14R will go close to 200 mph (around? 321km/h) with mods. The ZX-14R has 185 hp at the rear wheel. That's a lot of power, the BMW probably puts out this much power at the crank. They are both fast bikes but the S1000RR is a racing bike and will smoke the ZX-14R around a circuit.The ZX-14R will out-accelerate the BMW in a line.

Well personal preference is irrefutable, but this was still a great game. It had a story with much more depth than any? other NFS game and with actual character play, it makes the game more interesting. It would be nice that NFS stayed with the whole "cops and robbers" theme, Most Wanted is my favorite one for that but they'd have to keep something new coming. Hot pursuit didn't impress me much, it was like Undercover without a story and really without a goal.

Don't be so narrow minded. First of all, this game can NOT be compared to other NFS games. It's nothing like Underground 1 or 2, nothing like Shift or Pro Street, the only thing this game shares with Most Wanted, Undercover, Carbon,? and Hot Pursuit are cop chases. Other than that, this game is a unique NFS game, but fun as hell. It's more involved than just racing with shooting and track obstacles, has some sort of story, and reflects actual cities.
