I just picked up a 1971 musser one nighter that is in very good shape and I paid just over $1,000 for it. That is inexpensive in the world of percussion considering the cheapest new musser vibraphone is slightly over $2,000. Then you also have to look into finding one with graduated or ungraduated bars. It's preference on that really.

Used to be a real fan of Burton, now I am not so sure anymore. Considering? they are closing the Vermont facility to have them made in Austria. Funny how a company started in America, was at the forefront of the snowboard revolution, made snowboard during the late 80's early 90's era when snow resorts hated snowboards and boarders, only to turn tail and run to Europe when things got financially tough. Burton did not used to be all about the quest for the Almighty Dollar, things change i guess
